Green Day Hit A Creative High

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has told Rock Sound that new album '21st Century Breakdown' is a creative high for the punk rock trio.''I would like people to look back on this time for us as a monumental era for Green Day,'' he admits candidly in an exclusive new interview. ''It would be amazing if this record and our last were to be compared to when The Clash released ‘London’s Calling’ and ‘Sandinista!’ or when The Rolling Stones released ‘Let It Bleed’ and ‘Exile On Main Street’. I would like people to acknowledge a creative high.”
